SCAFFOLDING FOR NEW HOUSE BUILDERS & DEVELOPERS

Weatherark Builders asked us to provide scaffolding for this grand but contemporary new build in Cheltenham. The 3-million-pound project needed careful attention to detail, with expensive materials needed to be loaded on to the scaffold and various adaptions for cladding and zinc installations.

The project was done in 3 phases, allowing the contractors to work on each side of the building, while creating space for landscaping and groundworks as the project developed.

Scaffolding, roofing and carpentry package for J L Cotswold developments. A development of 4 properties in the town of Cam. We were originally approached by J L Cotswold for the scaffolding requirements for the site. However, because we were contracting for Bovis Homes around the corner in Cam, it made sense to tender for the carpentry and roofing works as well. We knew we could offer an excellent service and cost-effective package for J L Cotswold.

We were contacted by Kingspan Timber Solutions to provide scaffolding for the house building and timber frame division across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. This is a project we did for them in Taynton, Gloucestershire.

Timber frame contraction is a method of building that allows several trades to work on a building at any one time, whilst the building is made weathertight. The scaffolding needed for a timber frame building can be varied, but generally the scaffolding required all goes up on the first visit, rather than progressively. The lifts also generally need 2 inside boards meaning it’s a much wider scaffold lift.
