MSB Steel – Leeways Cinderford
Scaffolding required for edge protection while installing a new roof to this 145m x 45m x 15m high steel building in Cinderford. Because the building has a curved cladded roof edge with nowhere to clamp the scaffolding to for edge protection, we installed the scaffolding from the ground using a combination of traditional scaffolding and buttress towers. Along the portico we installed the scaffolding straight from the roof using boards to protect the cladding. We also provided an access tower in the centre of the portico.
MSB Steel – Edwicks Tewkesbury
We were contracted to provide scaffolding for installing a steel panel roof to this large steel frame building in Tewkesbury. As per the BS EN 13374 safety standards for temporary edge protection systems, we installed triple guardrail edge protection scaffolding by clamping the uprights to the top of the vertical steel columns with Gravlock girder couplers. Our team used cherry pickers and scissor lifts to get to the height required to install the scaffolding with all of our part 1 and part 2 scaffolders holding an IPAF certificate.
Foyle Food Group & Oakley EMS – Cinderford
We provided several internal access towers and bespoke internal birdcage scaffolds for Foyles Food Group in Cinderford. This was to provide safe access over all the factory machinery for Oakley EMS Contractors to install Kingspan PIR sandwich panels to the walls and ceiling to provide a clean, safe, insulated and fire-resistant workspaces for the production of high-quality beef products. The MTS Scaffolding teams were required to work late evenings, night shifts and early mornings to complete the works for the contractors ensuring Foyles Food Group’s Production was never halted or compromised.
